Is eyebrow restoration for me?
Most of us want to have prominent and well defined eyebrows as to provide a framework to our faces that would enhance the overall attractiveness of our facial features. Eyebrow restoration is a process aimed to reshape, customize or permanently restore the shape of eyebrows. It was initially introduced for people who had suffered burns or who did not have proper eyebrows because of some illness- however, increasingly people demand eyebrow restoration to achieve perfect eyebrows.
People who are born with very thin eyebrows, people who have stunted growth of eyebrow hair because of over plucking, people who have lost their eyebrows as a result of laser hair removal treatment, people who genetically lack eyebrows or who have irregular eyebrows are all suitable candidates for eyebrow hair implants. Also people who like the way a particular famous person’s or friend‘s eyebrows appear tend to get eyebrow restoration. It is also a permanent solution for women who constantly have to get their eyebrows made in order for them to look shapely.
Different looks are preferred by people for their eyebrows, generally men prefer to get larger eyebrows that lend dominance, character and power. Women generally like thinner and more defined eyebrows- they could be arch shaped, c shaped, straight etc depending upon your preference and what suits your face most. Your surgeon would be best able to describe to you what kind of eyebrows would look most natural, suitable and attractive on your face.
Eyebrow restoration is a step by step lengthy process but luckily it is provided by expert surgeons in Pakistan at the Dubai cosmetic surgery centre. The process starts off by a consultation where the surgeon and patient discuss the kind of look the patient desires and the doctor examines if the patient is in the best of his health to undergo this procedure. The eyebrows are then examined to see where the new hair would need to be implanted. Since the hairs on your eyebrows are of a finer quality than the hair on our head, hair taken from the back of the ear or the upper thighs would be implanted into the eyebrows- each follicle is individually extracted and implanted along the brow line- from 50 to as many as 325 follicles are restored depending upon the patients need or preference.
After the surgery is completed there may be minor swelling and bruising however the recovery period is quite quick and you can resume your daily life activities in no time.
You will notice that after about a month or so the hair would fall out and the eyebrow would start looking like it did pre-surgery however this is normal and nothing to worry about as the hair life cycle has come to its end but since the surgeon had implanted follicles beneath the surface of the hair the eyebrow starts to grow over the next few weeks and starts to look nice and shapely again just like the surgeon has restored it.
